Information Builders Discloses Summit 2012

Information Builders, the software vendor of WebFOCUS and iWay Software, recently disclosed the location of the 2012 annual users group meeting.

IBI will once again hold the Summit conference in Orlando, Florida; or more accurately, in Kissimmee at the Gaylord Palms.

The five-day event starts on Sunday, June 3rd, and lasts through Thursday, June 7.

Online registration is already open. Click here to register.

Don't take me wrong, but I am excited most about the probably offsite event (I'm guessing IBI will once again rent out the Streets of New York section of Universal Studios).

Not that the other parts of the Summit are not good--education sessions, meeting with experts, networking, food, drinks, etc.--but who can compete with some great 3-D reality rides?

On the other hand, I am disappointed to learn the Universal Studios recently shut down the Jimmy Neutron Nicktoon Blast ride. Hopefully, Universal Studios will have the "Despicable Me" replacement open before the Summit attendees show up in June 2012.

And when you are at the Summit 2012 event, be sure to stop by the Partner Intelligence booth. While I do not have the details worked out yet, Partner Intelligence should be presenting one of the educational sessions. Stay tuned for more information.
