IBI Announces Off-Site Event for Summit 2011

Information Builders kept the secret as long as they could. Their off-site event for Summit 2011 is a rodeo.

You should not be too impressed with my psychic abilities to predict this (see my earlier blog). The Summit is in Dallas, Texas; did you expect an Hawaiian luau?

On Tuesday evening, the 14th of June, you will want to get in line early at the Anatole Hilton's Chantilly entrance for a 7:30PM bus ride to the Resistol Arena to see the Mesquite Pro Rodeo.

IBI says to expect three and a half hours of rip-roaring rodeo recreation. In addition to partaking in food and drinks, you can ride on a mechanical bull and in a stagecoach (hopefully, "stagecoach" is not rodeo jargon for what we non-Texans would call an ambulance).

Now that you know the secret, be sure to pack your clothing and spurs accordingly.
